Caroline Newton, the Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for Henley and Thame, attended the Mayor Making ceremony at Henley Town Hall this morning,to see Cllr Rory Hunt elected as mayor for the forthcoming year. She was a guest of Cllr Felix Bloomfield, Chairman of Oxfordshire County Council.
She said: "It was a real privilege to be present at Rory's election. He's the youngest ever Mayor of Henley, and I'm sure he is going to represent the town with energy and positivity. I hope to work with him and his fellow-councillors to support the town and its residents if I am elected as the member of parliament at the next General Election."
